To provide our clients with a high level of customer service and be responsible for facilitating import and export ocean & air shipments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process import & export documentation for account
  • Must have a better than average understanding of Import & Export Regulations and other government agency regulations that govern export
  • Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, customers and agents in a timely mann
  • Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source best method of transportati
  • Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentatio
  • Continue to explore different options to reduce cost, and increase revenues.
  • Track and trace shipment and provide updates to clients and sa
  • Uphold a strong and professional relationship with airlines, transportation agencies and sa
  • Demonstrate an emphasis on customer satisfaction per company policy.
  • Maintain shipment files and ensure billing is completed within a timely fashi

  • Work with Brokerage or CFS to coordinate and monitor the release of goods from the carrier, Customs, or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.

  • Demonstrate an emphasis on high-level customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain shipment files and ensure billing is completed within a timely fashi
  • Assist as backup for alternate account
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**This is not a remote role, must be able to work on site in Philadelphia, PA

Qualifications Needed

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelors strongly desired
  • 5- year experience with freight forwarder or import/export agency is required
  • Knowledge on incoterms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; along with math skills for dimension conversions
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills – MS Office
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task paired with strong operational skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Displays a flexible and open-minded willingness to adapt to new environments and be a team player
  • Must have good ethical standards
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual welcomed but not required
