Savino Del Bene Miami entered into the Foreign Trade Zone

Last November 18th, 2016 our Savino Del Bene office in Miami has been received a FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) license by the US Customs and FTZ Miami board. Savino Del Bene Miami is the first American office to achieve this important result. The USA FTZ program was authorized by the US Congress in 1934 and it is used to help and encourage activity and value-added at US facility in competition with foreign alternatives by allowing under duty free environment reducing on import taxation, manufacturing, assembly, manipulation, duty payment delays etc. with substantial operation and logistics cost saving.

Savino Del Bene Miami now can offer new logistics solutions to our global clients as a main hub for import/export, distribution, duty free operation that will help to secure more business opportunity as a main differentiator factor with our competitors. In USA the FTZ 2015 annual report indicates goods exported directly from USA free trade zone jumped 28% from a previous year to a record of $ 99.9 billion.
