Florence, Italy & Valencia, Spain – Savino Del Bene consolidates its position in the Iberian market through the acquisition of three companies belonging to Grupo Marítima Sureste. This transaction strengthens the presence in the strategic Murcia–Almeria-Algeciras corridor and allows the integration of a well-established logistics structure with intermodal, rail, and in-house transport capabilities.
The agreement involves Marítima Sureste Shipping, a logistics and freight forwarding company coordinating activities from its main logistics hub in El Estrecho, a facility of over 50,000 sqm, with more than 10,000 sqm of warehouse space. Its assets also include a warehouse in Cheste (8,000 sqm) with 4,000 sqm of yard space, a 10,000 sqm warehouse at the Nonduermas railway terminal, where the company holds an exclusive ADIF concession for the management of rail freight and container trains, as well as additional facilities in Almería and Algeciras.
Marítima Sureste Spain, active in freight forwarding, and Transportes Gaypemar, which specializes in container overland transport, are also part of the deal.
