Despite the pandemic is still affecting many aspects of our lives, Savino Del Bene has been working hard to guarantee its customers stability and the best supply chains solutions. Miami and Bogotá branches worked closely to ensure the Colombian Government the supply of a fully equipped field hospital to be installed in the capital city. The project consisted in the shipment of 22 boxes of overall weight 12.360 CW kg. Collected in Oregon and transported by road to Miami, the goods were sent via air freight to final destination in Bogotá.
The high proficiency as well as the expertise of the staff involved were fundamentals to successfully complete the project on time. It follows what our customer said:
The project was challenging due to short delivery times coupled with delays due to Independence Day holidays. However, it was possible thanks to the commitment and effort of all the people involved which positively impacted on the government’s response to face the emergency by expanding hospital capacity.
