April has been an eventful month for us in Panama, marked by two new openings that significantly boost our service capacity in Central America.
In Panama City, we’ve moved into a more efficient and collaborative 300 sqm workspace. This new office enhances our development capabilities. Same address, greater opportunities.
We celebrated as well our participation on a brand-new 3PL warehouse of 5,000 sqm in Cocosolito, located in the Colón Free Zone, the second-largest free trade zone in the world.
On this occasion, Sergio Bazzurro, Senior Vice President, remarked: “We see Colón as a strategic opportunity to connect with 192 countries directly from the city. Starting with 5,000 square meters gives us the flexibility to further expand our capacity over the next two to three years.”
To celebrate this milestone, we hosted a double event. In the morning, we had the honor of receiving Luisa Napolitano, General Director of the Colón Free Zone, who officially inaugurated the facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new warehouse welcomed around 30 guests, including clients, suppliers, and representatives from institutions such as the Italian-Panamanian Chamber of Commerce and the Free Zone administration.
Around 2 p.m., we concluded our activities at the warehouse to begin the second part of the program. The entire team returned to Panama City for the corporate inauguration of our new office. During the celebration, we also had the participation of Mr. Andrea de Melis, Commercial and Cultural Representative of the Italian Embassy in Panama.
In short, it was a productive evening of networking and connection.
